The Univ Players

University College, Oxford is the home to the Univ Players. In short, we are a Drama Society who put on a variety of shows in college for the enjoyment of anybody who wants to come and see them.

Our specialty show is the Univ Garden Play - a play we put on every term in Trinity term, usually around Fourth week (that's half way through Summer Term.) We take over the Master's Garden and put on (usually) a comedy play - in the last two years, we've done The Country Wife and The Government Inspector. Not content with that, we've also ressurected the Univ Revue, a sketch show written, directed and performed entirely by us, poking fun at College, the University, Students, Lecturers and even (when we can get away with it) the Dean.
